Nokia has announced the new Lumia 625 with a 4.7-inch LCD screen, the biggest seen in the Lumia series smartphones and hih speed 4G connectivity. The device is mainly targeted towards the large screen smartphone users.

Specifications wise the Nokia Lumia 625 is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor along with 512MB RAM and 8GB internal storage, the memory can be expanded by another 64GB via microSD card. While the main attraction of the phone is it’s 4.7-inch with 480×800 pixel resolution at 201 ppi density. The screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection and features super sensitive touch technology, which allows you to operate it using nails and gloves.

It features a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, that is capable 0f 1080p true HD video recording and a VGA front-facing camera. The Lumia 625 runs on Windows Phone 8 with Nokia’s own  Amber update. The Nokia Lumia 625 also includes some new features found in the recently announced flagship Nokia Lumia 1020, such as Nokia Smart Camera app, offering handy features like removing unwanted objects from pictures, and Nokia Cinemagraph, which turns photos into living memories with added movement.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and GLONASS support as well as Bluetooth 4.0. The smartphone also supports a wide range of networks including quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, HSP and LTE.

Nokia Lumia 625 is powered by a 2,000mAh battery, which Nokia claims will lasts up to 23 days on stand by and talk time up to 23.9 hours. The battery is said to provide enough juice for video play back up to 6.8 hours and music playback time up to 90 hours.

The Nokia Lumia 625 will be available in orange, yellow, bright green, white and black color with changeable shells. It will start retailing at 220 Euros before taxes and subsidies, Nokia will begin selling Lumia 625 in China, Europe, Asia Pacific, India, Middle East, Africa and Latin America in Q3 2013.
